King of Romantic movies Karan Johar says "I Hate Love Stories"

Now, No don't be shocked by the title. It's the similar Karan Johar with big mansion, vibrant colours, college romance and happy endings. No Karan Johar is not going to stop creating love stories.

Karan's new course of action is a movie called 'I hate Love Stories' which will star youth icons Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor. The movie will not be directed by the champion director himself but by close friend fashion designer Manish Malhotra's nephew Punit Malhotra.

The movie with the abnormal title will see Imran and Sonam coming together for the first time.

Both the actors have gather huge love and popularity among the youth and rest and with this movie try to capture their grip in Bollywood.

The movie unlike its name will be a love story.

Seems very exciting to see both the youth icons together on screen in the same casing. Good luck to both the actors.

Review of Bollywood movie "Newyork"

The scenes in the movie highly reminded of what we have seen earlier. John's first scene saw him doing a Shah Rukh Khan (in Main Hoon Na) in the New York State University campus racing with a guy to pull the string of the American flag on the roof, although this time there was no near casualties. The pub scenes looked highly inspired by Karan Johar's Kal Ho Na Ho. John doing the building stunt reminded me of Hrithik in Lakshya. And Irrfan interrogating Neil was, well, let's just say he has been doing the FBI-slash-Police-Detective-slash-Inspector routine for quite some films now, notably Slumdog Millionaire, A Mighty Heart etc.

New York might be able to do business for the first few weeks but it will not have a big shelf life. It is no epic movie and nothing about the movie is what will make you watch it again. It's a one time watch. The song, 'Hai Junoon...' although will stay for some time.

Hence, the movie is not a college romance, nor is it an intense fast action thriller. It is a mixture of both. It's predictable and yet, you wouldn't still be ready to sleep while watching the film. It has it's moments of laughter and excitement although thinly.

So, if you go to watch the movie, that is if you really have a thing for Katrina or John or Neil, then, you should have your popcorn in the first half, because the second half becomes intense and you might block.

Abhishek steps in, in re-make of Agneepath...

News in air, Hrithik Roshan has said no to Karan Johar for doing the re-make of Agneepath. Few days back the media was confused with the news that Karan Johar was remaking the legendary movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa in the original. There were speculations about the star cast of the movie. Hrithik was considered for the role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, which was played by Amitabh Bachchan in the 1990 movie. But he has declined to do the role saying that he "was a bit hesitant about stepping into Big B's shoes".

Now who will then play Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in the re-make? Guess that's simple. Of course, the son of Vijay... Junior Vijay Dinanath Chauhan aka Junior Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan has said in most of his interviews that his favorite film is Agneepath. Who would be, then, most happy to be in the film? AB Baby must be floating in the clouds now. His dream is going to be fulfilled very soon.
